I am a new convert to the world of podcasting. I use a website called Mediafly, on which you can select the podcasts you want to download, and then it automatically synchronizes them to your mp3 player through a client provided by the site. I know iTunes works similarly, but I am trying to prove to the world I can exist without Apple products.
The Mediafly website, however, isn’t very well organized for finding new and interesting feeds: It gives you some defaults, like NPR and BBC if you express an interest in “News”, but it doesn’t actually let you search. I’ve tried other websites that claim to review and index podcasts but I wasn’t impressed with any of them.
How do other people find the casts they’re interested in?

You can search for podcasts or topics via the search box at the top of mediafly.com.
Based on your comments, you will love the next version of mediafly coming out in stages over the next few months… Lots of great improvements and new stuff in the works…
