I had a rather interesting flight from Prague to Larnaca yesterday, sitting next to a 19yo member of one of Harvard’s a capella choirs. The boys are on a 3 month of tour of most of Europe, Asia, and Mexico. You can get an idea of what they do in the video above. We had a very interesting conversation about American history, politics, education, and much else. I was looking forward to checking out their music by the time I came home. I have to say though, how incredibly privileged are these kids!? My students have to work during the summer to save enough money to come back to school at the end of August. Some of them don’t make it.
Oh well, that’s the system we all live in.
